Tips On How To Shop Online

Believe it or not, a lot of people have asked me "how do you online shop" or "how do you find all these cute things online" or "it's so hard for me to buy clothes online." In this post I will lay out the basic steps of online shopping and hopefully answer these questions as well.

#1 Measure Yourself!

This is a very important step because you need to buy clothes or shoes that actually fit you! Get a measuring tape and measure your bust, waist, hips, and feet. Know your height, shoe, dress, shirt, and pants size in both American,European and in cm. This will come in handy in the future!

#2 Material

You don't want to spend a lot of money on clothes and find out later that it's made out of super cheap material. Always try to look up what material the clothes are made out of. If you don't know what type of material it is, look it up. Contact the seller if you need to.

#3 Look Around

If you see something that you like, but it's too expensive, look around at different online stores or maybe wait for it to go on sale. If it's "one of a kind" or something you've never seen before and you have to have it, then just buy it!

#4  Look at Shipping Prices

Some stores offer free shipping if you buy a certain amount from their store (sometimes $50, but depends on the store). Individually owned stores offer bundle shipping, which means that shipping is a lot cheaper if you buy more than 1 item from their store.

#5 Tax

Most big named online companies (Forever 21, Nasty Gal, Urban Outfitters, etc..) charge tax, so just remember that shipping and tax prices can make your order a lot more expensive. Individually owned stores on Etsy, Storenvy and even eBay, don't charge tax which is another reason why I love those websites a lot.

#6 Safe

Make sure that whatever website you're using is safe! If you are not sure if it is safe or not, do not buy from them! Look up reviews on any store before you buy from them! (I learned my lesson!)

#7 Payment

Check to see what kind of payment the website is asking for. Ex: Paypal, AmEx, MasterCard, Visa...
Most websites only except Paypal nowadays which is a safer alternative than just typing your credit card number in any website.

# 8 Search

Go to different websites and type in something that you like or interests you! You might make amazing discoveries this way!

Remember: BE SAFE when shopping online!
